I conceived an idea for a post-apocalyptic world back in 1996 (ten years ago!) and have recently been re-reading my notes i wrote back then. I have an entire box folder full of ideas, stories, characters and places which i have begun to work on again as of last night. I ran a PBEM version of this world, very successfully, in 1999 but since then it has been remaining dormant. Last night i wrote 4344 words into xPad revising and reworking the original source material.

I’ve started using the Kar98k (pictured centre in this photo) in Call of Duty 2. It’s proving an interesting choice for me at the moment. I am clearly able to use it well enough – but it tight, close maps its flaws are exposed easily. I am not sure whether to change the MP44 for it during clan matches just yet.

We played against LCN (La Confrerie Noire) last night and absolutely thrashed them 150-75 over the course of three maps. This is our second straight win in the tournament, three if you count a clan that has dropped out or been banned, and we are in a strong position to at least qualify from the group. We have, however, several tough clans to face off against in the coming weeks. HIV tonight, La Bout Rein and finally ECKO. I don’t have much of a clue about “La Bout Rein” but the other two are potentially likely to beat us. We were very, very concerned about LCN and i was, admittedly, expecting a defeat – perhaps we will be as fortunate with these remaining teams… ?

I just picked this up from ITMS… and wow what a refreshing album to listen to. It’s got a mix of almost everything in there… dance, jazz, hiphop, electronic… all sorts. The album cover rules as well!

We had a couple of matches last night, both rematchs and one of which was an official, however they did not show. We ended up only playing against masterteam in a friendly last night. We played extremely well as the screenshot shows here. I even killed three with a single grenade which was fun

Well in the last couple of days i have grabbed a whole bunch of tracks from various artists on ITMS. I have discovered a whole raft of artists that have seemingly appeared out of nowhere. I grabbed a sample bunch of tracks from the following artists:

Peach (f.t.l) – l’empreinte… “elle attend” (Très bien pour écouter)… rock/alternative.

OFX – Roots / Viens EP… five or so tracks. Hip-hop.

Lorenzo – 1er Episode… “J’ai envie de partir”. Hip-hop.

60feelings – le mouvement des choses… an electronic album.

It’s always nice to see new stuff there. It’s even nicer to support them by buying the odd track and album here and there.
